Getting started

A quick tour of how to go from a public opportunity to a reviewable proposal.

1 · Create your workspace

Register on the home page with your email and a verification code — no separate page, no waiting. A personal organization is created for you on first sign-in.

2 · Search the bid library

Use hybrid search (keyword, fuzzy, and semantic) and filter by state and county or a date range. Open any opportunity to see normalized details and the link to the original posting.

3 · Parse & evaluate

Attach a solicitation document to extract requirements with page-level evidence, build a compliance matrix, and get an advisory Bid/No-Bid signal.

4 · Prepare & export

Draft proposal sections, run an async review, and export DOCX, XLSX, and PDF working files. You always submit the final bid yourself.

5 · Use templates and contract drafts

Search the document library for bid templates, proposal templates, government bidding process references, and business contract templates. After a win, use the same company profile and award context to prepare a draft business contract for legal and business review.

6 · Keep control of the final submission

Octobid helps organize public procurement data, RFP requirements, proposal drafts, compliance matrices, source files, and export packages. Your team remains responsible for reviewing, approving, signing, and submitting the final response to the buyer.
