Verified live jurisdictions include New York City, Montgomery County (MD), the State of Delaware, Los Angeles, and Winnipeg (MB). New jurisdictions are added as their official Socrata / open-data feeds are verified, and the daily collector promotes one new source at a time.

SLED and local procurement targets

Octobid prioritizes state, local, and education procurement sources: state purchasing portals, county procurement departments, city bid boards, school district RFP pages, public works solicitations, utility bids, transit authority procurements, and official open-data catalogs.

Procurement data types

Source records may include solicitation titles, notice identifiers, buyer agencies, due dates, posted dates, official URLs, attachment links, addenda, bid tabs, downloadable RFP files, specification documents, and procurement categories used for opportunity matching.

Policy

We use official APIs, downloadable files, and approved open-data feeds — never login-gated commercial portals or fragile scraping. Every record carries its jurisdiction and a link back to the original posting.
